DATES WITH BACON
Prep/Cooking Time: 15-30 Minutes

- 800g Dates
- 800g Bacon
- Salt
- Pepper
- 20ml Olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the bacon into 1"pieces
- Heat a thick bottom pan and pour in the oil
- Once the pan is smoking hot add the bacon and cook till starting to colour
- Add to the pan the dates and fry for a further 3-4 minutes
- Season with the salt and pepper and leave to cool in a covered tray
- Keep in the fridge till needed
- Remove from the fridge 1 hour before use
