COEUR DE NEUFCHATEL MELT

Ingredients

  • 1/2 piece Coeur De Neufchatel
  • 2 slice sourdough
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  • Take 1 piece of the sourdough and toast on the panini grill
  • Once toasted place in the bottom of a cast iron dish
  • Place the 1/2 Coeur de Neufchatel on top of the toasted sourdough
  • Add to the top the herbs and garlic, pushing them into the cheese
  • Place the dish in the oven and cook for 6-8 minutes at 180c
  • Whilst the dish is in the oven toast the second piece of soudough in the panini grill
  • Once cooked place the dish on a plate to serve and place the toast on the side of the dish

  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic

  • Take 2 pieces of the sourdough and toast on the panini grill
  • Once toasted place in the bottom of a cast iron dish
  • Place 1/2 the Coeur de Neufchatel on top of the toasted sourdough
  • Add to the top 1/2 \the herbs and garlic, pushing them into the cheese
  • Place the other half of the cheese back on top
  • Again add the herbs and garlic pushing them slightly into the cheese
  • Place the dish in the oven and cook for 8-12 minutes at 180c
  • Whilst the dish is in the oven toast the remaining soudough in the panini grill
  • Once cooked place the dish on a plate to serve and place the toast on the side of the dish
