CHEESE AND HAM TOASTED SANDWICH

- 2 Slices white bloomer
- 80g Cheddar cheese
- 40g Gammon ham
- 12g Dijon mustard
- 40g Butter
- 20ml Olive oil
- 45g Mixed leaf salad
- 5g Lemon juice
- 5g Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Butter both sides of both pieces of bread
- Spread one side of both slices with Dijon mustard
- Lay cheddar on both sides which have mustard
- On top of one side of cheddar add the ham
- Close the sandwich with buttered sides facing out
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and add to the pan the sandwich
- Cook over a medium heat until golden brown
- Turn the sandwich and place the pan in the oven at 180
- Cook for 4 minutes
- Remove from the oven and pat dry any excess oil
- Cut the sandwich diagonally and place on the serving plate
- Toss the salad leaves with the lemon juice and olive oil
- Season and serve on the plate with the toasted sandwich
